Commercial Carrot Juicer Overview

The AGICO commercial carrot juicer is a continuous belt press designed for extracting juice from properly prepared carrots and other suitable fruit or vegetable mash. Material enters the feeding area, travels between the filter belt and press rollers, and is compressed progressively while collected juice leaves through the receiving section. Continuous operation can support a production line where washing, sorting, crushing, pressing, filtration, and filling are coordinated at compatible rates.
Four models cover specified capacities up to 3, 5, 10, or 20 t/h. Capacity is a selection reference, not a guaranteed result for every carrot condition. Root size, maturity, moisture, preparation method, feed consistency, belt loading, and required juice clarity can all affect practical output. At AGICO, we recommend defining the raw-material condition and the equipment before and after the press before selecting the belt width and machine size.
Key Features for Continuous Juice Extraction
-
Adjustable Belt Speed
The belt speed is adjustable from 0 to 0.1 m/s. This gives operators a way to coordinate residence time with feed characteristics, but the setting should be established through controlled operation rather than treated as a fixed value for every batch.
-
Food-Grade SUS304 Construction
SUS304 stainless-steel construction provides a suitable material basis for food-processing contact and routine washdown. Cleaning procedures, compatible detergents, drainage, and inspection access still need to be included in the buyer's sanitation plan.
-
Progressive Belt Pressing
The belt and roller arrangement applies pressure progressively instead of relying on a single compression point. Even mash preparation and stable feeding help distribute the material across the available belt width and reduce localized overloading.
-
Automatic Continuous Operation
Continuous operation supports connection to upstream crushing and downstream juice handling. The line must also provide uninterrupted pomace removal, compressed air at 0.6–0.7 MPa, electrical service, cleaning water, and adequate drainage.
AGICO Technical Data and Model Selection
Compare the required hourly intake with belt width, utilities, footprint, and connected equipment. Final configuration should be confirmed before quotation.

*Typical juice yield depends on carrot variety, maturity, moisture, preparation, operating settings, and measurement basis. It should be verified for the buyer's material and process target.
Carrot Juice Line Applications
Plan the press as one controlled stage in a complete line rather than as an isolated machine.
Prepared Mash Feeding
Stable transfer helps use the belt width consistently.
An elevator or metering conveyor can transfer prepared carrot mash into the press. The feed should be even, without stones, metal, packaging, or oversized unprocessed roots. Sudden surges can create uneven loading and should be prevented through upstream control.
AGICO will normally ask for the crusher discharge height, mash consistency, planned flow rate, and available floor layout before reviewing the feeding interface.

Integrated Juice Processing
Juice and pomace outlets must remain available during continuous pressing.
In a carrot juice line, the press can receive material after washing, inspection, and size reduction. Collected juice may continue to filtration, blending, pasteurization, or filling according to the buyer's process. Pomace needs a separate conveyor or container sized for continuous discharge.
The receiving system should avoid backpressure or overflow. Confirm outlet heights, transfer direction, cleaning-water routing, and access for removing product residue between batches.

How the Belt Press Juicing Process Works
1. Prepare the Carrots
Wash and inspect the carrots, remove foreign material, and reduce them to a consistent mash suitable for pressing. Preparation affects drainage, belt loading, and the practical juice-yield range.

2. Feed Evenly
Distribute mash across the usable belt area at a stable rate. Match the feeder with the selected model so that the press is neither starved nor overloaded.
3. Press Progressively
The filter belt carries material through the roller arrangement while pressure increases. Operators monitor belt tracking, tension, feed thickness, and discharge condition and adjust within the approved operating procedure.
4. Collect Juice and Discharge Pomace
Juice flows to the receiving section while pressed solids leave separately. Both downstream paths must remain clear throughout continuous operation.
5. Clean and Inspect
At changeover, stop feeding, allow the press to clear, isolate power and compressed air, and follow the supplied sanitation procedure. Clean accessible belt, roller, guard, juice-reception, and pomace-discharge areas. Inspect belt tracking and residue before restart.
Questions About the Commercial Carrot Juicer
-
Must carrots be prepared before pressing?
Yes. Carrots should be washed, inspected, and reduced to a consistent pressable material. The exact preparation equipment depends on root size, condition, and the required finished juice.
-
Is the 65–75% juice yield guaranteed?
No. It is a typical reference supplied for the models. Actual yield depends on variety, maturity, moisture, preparation, settings, and how yield is measured. Representative raw material should be evaluated before final commitments.
-
How should a model be selected?
Start with the required hourly intake, then confirm belt width, feed consistency, footprint, main drive power, compressed air, cleaning water, drainage, and downstream capacity. AGICO can review these interfaces from the buyer's line layout and utility information.
-
Can the voltage be adapted?
The standard supply is 380 V, 50 Hz, three phase, and voltage can be customized according to the local power supply. Confirm voltage, frequency, phase, and applicable electrical requirements before production.
-
What should be checked during cleaning?
Use the final sanitation and safety instructions for the configured machine. Isolate utilities, remove remaining product, clean product-contact and collection areas, inspect the belt and tracking components, and confirm that guards and drainage are ready before restart.
