The TJ-400S potato shredder is a centrifugal cutting machine designed for continuous preparation of potatoes and other suitably firm vegetables. Product enters the feed area, moves toward the rotating cutting system, and leaves as slices or strips according to the installed cutting head. This arrangement can replace repeated hand cutting in central kitchens, frozen-food plants, snack preparation areas and vegetable-processing lines where consistent presentation and an organized flow matter.

A nominal cut specification is useful, but a representative sample gives the engineering discussion a more practical reference.

Confirm feed size: product must remain within 90 mm in every dimension, or be reduced before loading.

Define the cut: identify slice thickness, strip width, length expectations and acceptable edge quality.

Match the duty: compare continuous feed time, cleaning intervals and actual upstream supply with the reference capacity.

Check utilities: verify phase, frequency, voltage, plug or isolator arrangement and local electrical practice before shipment.

Washed and Peeled Potato Preparation

    No. It is the stated capacity range for the referenced model. Actual output depends on feed size, preparation, cutting head, operator rhythm and downstream removal. Confirm the duty using representative raw material.

  • Can the machine make both slices and shreds?

    The interchangeable-head design supports different outputs when the correct head is supplied. Specify the finished dimensions and sample expectation before ordering; the required heads should be listed clearly in the quotation.

  • What happens if potatoes exceed 90 mm?
